Common Questions
What is the next step?
AIN is in-network with many insurance plans, including commercial plans, Medicaid, and Medicare. Get in touch with our office to find out if your insurance benefits cover nutrition counseling services with a dietitian. HSA and FSA are accepted. You may also call your insurance to verify your benefits.
Please be aware that we can bill your insurance, but this is not a guarantee of payment. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to know and understand your own coverage.
Do I need a referral?
Your individual insurance plan will dictate whether or not you are required to have a referral.
What if you do not accept my insurance company or I am self-pay?
We offer self-pay discounts- call our office for a quote.
How does the process work?
You will be scheduled for a one-hour initial visit with the dietitian. Follow-up visits are typically 30 minutes long; the frequency of visits will be determined by you and your dietitian.
